In the second quarter of 2025, the top photography apps in Kenya exhibited varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

ToonMe photo cartoon maker from PHOTO LAB DMCC saw a notable increase in weekly revenue early in the quarter, peaking at around $71 in mid-April. Weekly downloads also experienced a significant rise, reaching approximately 81.6K in the same period, while active users peaked at about 124.5K before gradually declining.

FramMe Photo Editor & Collage by XEN Studios maintained a steady download rate, with a high of 34.5K in early April. Active users consistently increased towards the end of the quarter, reaching around 75.4K.

UpFoto - AI Photo Enhancer from AI Photo Team showed a fluctuation in weekly revenue, with a peak of $31 at the end of June. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a noticeable increase to 30.5K in early April, while active users hovered around 30K throughout the quarter.
